Carmela Andrada, Trainer

Carmela grew up playing sports and never lost that love of being part of a team. After college, she found that same feeling of community and challenge through group fitness — from CrossFit and bootcamps to 8 years at F45, where she spent 4 as a coach! As a pharmacist, she’s seen firsthand how much movement matters for the body and mind — it can be the best medicine. She’s excited to bring that knowledge and energy into FS8, drawn by its unique blend of Pilates, HIIT, and reformer training. For Carmela, small efforts, shown up for daily, change everything — and she’s here to create a space where every member feels supported and inspired to keep going and become a stronger version of themselves.

Charla Chatman, Trainer

Charla began teaching yoga in Rishikesh, India in 2016 before transitioning into fitness in 2024. A former Division 1 Track & Field athlete and Licensed Massage Therapist, she brings a high‑performance mindset and clinical understanding of movement and recovery. Passionate about the FS8 fusion, she believes Pilates and yoga together build strength, confidence, and empowerment through consistency and community.

Jeremy Rise, Trainer, Head Trainer, Membership Advisor

Jeremy’s group fitness journey began over a decade ago in the spin world, eventually leading him through HIIT training and into a full-on love affair with Pilates. With a background in dance, nutrition, and life sciences, he has always been fascinated by the connection between movement, strength, and overall wellness. When FS8 announced it was coming to Seattle, he couldn’t pass up an opportunity that felt like such a perfect fit. He brings strong energy, big pushes, and creates plenty of moments where members surprise themselves with what they’re capable of. As Head Trainer at FS8, Jeremy is passionate about designing workouts that challenge people, build confidence, and remind them they are capable of far more than they think.

Josh Shuell, Trainer

Joshua’s passion for movement began at 14 through dance, sparking a lifelong dedication to fitness and body awareness. A Cum Laude graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Dance, he discovered his love for Pilates and mindful movement during his studies. Since earning his Pilates certification in 2018, Joshua has helped clients build strength, confidence, and connection through dynamic, creative, and accessible training. At FS8, he brings this background into a full-body experience that helps members move better, feel stronger, and connect more deeply with themselves

Leah Lauritzen, Studio Manager

Leah began her fitness journey after welcoming her third son, which sparked a passion for movement that led her to teach dance, barre, bootcamps, HIIT training, and cycle. With six years at F45, she’s thrilled for this next chapter with FS8. As Studio Manager of FS8 South Lake Union, Leah is excited to build a strong, passionate team and inspire members to discover their true potential—together, as a community.

Sharon Lei, Trainer

Sharon is a certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor passionate about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. Her background blends strength & conditioning, Pilates, yoga, gymnastics, and calisthenics to lead workouts that are both empowering and effective. Sharon’s coaching style is positive, supportive, and experiential — focused on making fitness approachable, intentional, and enjoyable for every individual!
