Elizabeth Williams, Studio Manager

My name is Elizabeth, and I am the Facility and Studio Manager for FS8 MCAS Miramar. We are proud to serve our military community by coaching and instructing FS8 classes, a unique 3‑in‑1 workout that blends Pilates, Tone, and Yoga‑inspired movements to build strength, flexibility, and full‑body conditioning. Each FS8 class is structured around eight essential elements of fitness: Cardio, Mobility, Posture, Coordination, Resistance, Mental Health, Balance, and Flexibility. This approach delivers a balanced, functional workout that targets all major muscle groups while supporting overall wellbeing. We welcome all eligible patrons, Active Duty, family members, retirees, DoD personnel, and guests accompanied by an eligible patron. Our team serves the community with passion and care, bringing the energy of FS8 Pilates, Yoga, and Tone to every class… with a signature “hell yes” spirit. Hello! My name is Heather. I am a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating positive, motivating, and inclusive fitness environments where people can challenge themselves, build confidence, and succeed. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the smiles on my participants’ faces and witnessing the strong connections that develop through shared commitment, encouragement, and hard work. Fitness is about more than exercise—it’s about building a supportive community, improving overall well-being, and creating healthy habits that last a lifetime. I believe that when people work out together, they are more likely to stay motivated, remain accountable, and enjoy the journey. Whether leading a group class or working one-on-one, my goal is to inspire others to discover their strength, embrace a healthy lifestyle, and have fun while doing it. I look forward to helping you move, grow, and achieve your personal fitness goals!

Taeja Ku, Trainer

With over 10 years of experience as a certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, I bring a unique blend of artistry and precision to the FS8 studio. Before discovering my passion for fitness 20 years ago after becoming a mother, I was a young dancer and a professionally trained classical pianist. That lifelong connection to rhythm and discipline naturally drew me to the mindful movement of Yoga, Barre, and Pilates. For me, FS8 is the ultimate fusion of strength, balance, and flexibility. It challenges me to be strong from within while pushing me to be a better coach for you. I truly believe that the mind-body connection is the most vital part of movement—allowing you to be intentional with every breath and every exercise. Whether you join me for a group class or a one-on-one session, my goal is to help you tap into your inner strength. There is nothing I love more than seeing you smile at the end of a tough workout and hitting that breakthrough moment of, “Aha! I did it!”
