Abby Shepherd, Trainer

Abby is a passionate Reformer, Matwork and Barre instructor as well as Nutritionist and student Naturopath with a love for guiding individuals through mindful movement to help them feel strong, balanced and deeply connected to themselves. Her approach to teaching is rooted in warmth, encouragement and genuine care. She believes movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to transform not only our bodies but our entire sense of wellbeing. Providing mental strength, clarity and resilience. Abby creates a space to align your mind, body and soul. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or have years of experience, her goal is to always meet you where you are and support you with positive energy, thoughtful guidance and a deep understanding of how intentional movement can change your life. Abby loves helping people reconnect with their bodies, find confidence in movement and walk away from a class feeling empowered, refreshed and more in tune with themselves.

Annika Allan, Trainer

With nearly a decade of experience in both Exercise Physiology and Pilates, Annika believes that movement can solve just about anything—from easing a restless mind to unlocking your body’s full potential. Drawing on her background in performance and rehabilitation, Annika takes a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to Pilates. She loves helping members move smarter, feel stronger, and build confidence, knowing that exercise is one of the most powerful tools for overall well-being. Her favourite exercise is a booty burning side-lying leg series or a challenging scooter flow. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Annika outdoors adventuring —camping under the stars, at the beach, hiking, or training towards her next goal.

Kaitlyn Bain, Trainer

I have been with FS8 for 4.5 years and was an F45 coach and personal trainer for about 6 years before that, and am also yoga teacher trained. I now love to mix my training mostly between strength, Pilates and HIIT, with a little bit of running and yoga! I have loved getting to know our members over such a long time, some of whom were basically my first friends on the coast after moving up from Brisbane! Fun fact I also met my now-wife in studio so have a lot to thank FS8 for! I love animals more than anything (especially dogs), the beach, coffee, audiobooks and early nights. Favourite exercise after much consideration is a lunge/tiger curl/ kick through combo. Honourable mentions to mermaid stretch/ side bend flow, reverse crunch with legs in straps, and long stretch.

Originally from Austria, I have been based in Australia for over a decade now. You’ll often find me chasing adventure — whether it’s hiking in the mountains, skiing or catching waves and exploring the ocean, usually in company with my husband Ben and our baby girl, a Staffy named Gypsy. My journey in the fitness world began as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. When FS8 Noosa opened, I quickly fell in love with Pilates. The precision, control, and mindful connection between body and mind resonates deeply with my approach to movement. I’m passionate about the power that comes from moving with intention — strengthening not just the body, but also the awareness within it. Unpopular opinion, I love a Curtsy Lunge, and any combination movements that test coordination and keeping both the body and mind fully engaged.
